Starbucks Coffee To Open At Renown Regional|
RENO, Nev. (Nov. 3, 2008) – The Shops at Renown, a new retail initiative designed to provide an outlet to patients and visitors, will welcome Starbucks Coffee to Renown Regional Medical Center with a grand opening celebration Monday, Nov. 17, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the hospital’s Center for Advanced Medicine C, 1155 Mill Street.
Grand opening events include: - First 200 customers receive a free Renown mug on opening day - Spend $5 or more Nov. 17-23, be entered into a raffle to receive a French press and a pound of coffee - Free chair massages by Massage Envy on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Free 30-minute coffee seminar on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., given by Steven Mapa, Starbucks Certified Coffee Master
The largest coffeehouse company in the world and proven leader in producing wide varieties of coffee, Starbucks Coffee is the latest retail operation to open this year at Renown Regional. Previously this year, Ben & Jerry’s along with Longs Drugs opened at the hospital.

Starbucks is approximately 2,100 square feet with five sitting areas and is part of The Shops at Renown, which offers a variety of other services and dining options to meet the needs of patients, visitors and employees. The Shops at Renown was recently renovated with new furniture, original artwork, paint and features complimentary Wi-Fi access.
