All cancer patients, family members, cancer survivors and caregivers are welcome to attend. Meets weekly on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. virtually. Video enabled attendance available. Join us for our free virtual Smoking Cessation 4-week program courtesy of Renown Health. This class is available to all who want to learn the risks of smoking and the benefits of quitting. In addition, participants will learn about their triggers to smoking, ways to cope while quitting, and available products to assist with becoming tobacco-free. This program begins on the 1st Wednesday of each month and will meet every Wednesday for four weeks from 4 to 5 p.m. Upon registering, you will receive instructions on virtually connecting 1-2 days before the class.

Designed for busy parents, this all-in-one-day Childbirth Education Course will help prepare mom and her partner for the many aspects of childbirth. You’ll learn the many facets of delivery, with the opportunity to ask questions helping you make informed decisions about critical issues surrounding your baby’s birth. Some topics include: Healthy developments in your pregnancy Stages of labor Warning signs Breathing and relaxation techniques Comfort measures Role of the support person and labor support Birth planning How to tell when you are in labor Pain relief options during labor/medical procedures How a birth doula can help Cesarean birth and Postpartum All of our instructors are certified educators who will offer you support and guidance through education in a unique way to meet your individual needs. We believe that childbirth is a process, not a method, and we recognize that there is no one right way to give birth. * Note: This class will not include a Baby and Family Suites Tour. Please Note: Masks must be worn during the entire class and 6-foot social distancing will be required for all participants not from the same household.

Led by Renown’s Bariatric Program Manager, we connect you with peers and leaders so you can support, coach, encourage, and lean on one another when you might need it most. Whether you are facing post surgery challenges or if you are thinking about weight loss surgery and you want to learn more about the client’s perspective or help reluctant family and friends better understand the process, attending this support group meeting can be invaluable. This support group is an excellent resource where you’ll find people who share your goals of health and wellness.  We are devoted to people who have common experiences, who can share their feelings in a safe environment, and who develop relationships that can contribute to improved physical and emotional health. We’ve found that our most successful clients attend support groups regularly.
