Reporting a Concern

As part of our commitment to our values, Renown Health provides numerous ways to report perceived or known compliance issues. We encourage anyone who is aware of a violation of a law or believes they have observed suspicious behavior to report their concern without fear of retribution. The compliance concern hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and managed by an external vendor.

What should I report?
Report any known or perceived compliance issue, including:

  • Violation of Medicare or Medicaid rules
  • Violation of patient privacy
  • Discrimination
  • Patient safety
  • Violation of federal, state, county or city law
  • Conflict of interest
  • Quality of care
  • Questionable billing practices

Reporting to Government Entities
Some cases of non-compliance should also be reported to the corresponding federal or state program.


Audit and Compliance Program

Renown's Compliance Program fosters ethical conduct with education, training and guidance for all staff. The program is designed to prevent non-compliance, whether accidental or intentional. With the aid of the Audit & Compliance Steering Committee, the Chief Compliance Officer brings a proactive approach to Renown Health's compliance efforts.
