Business Intern UNR - Marketing

Position Purpose:

This position assists with a variety of assigned projects under the guidance of senior staff. The position will develop an understanding of the assigned department and health care administration profession.

Nature and Scope:

Depending upon business needs, position may be exposed to a variety of business functions through project-based assignments. Senior staff will review and oversee any work product or project.  Position will perform all aspects of assignments as needed.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of marketing. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, a team player, and passionate about marketing.

• Take advantage of the opportunity to earn a Google Analytics certification, enhancing your skills in data analysis and website optimization.
• Gain practical experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and digital advertising, mastering the tools and techniques used to drive traffic and conversions in today's competitive digital landscape.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns
• Assisting with the production and execution of marketing materials, including social media content, email campaigns, and advertising
• Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate new marketing ideas and initiatives
• Providing administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing reports.

Minimum Qualifications:  Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Junior or Senior class standing in pursuit of bachelors in business, or MBA students. College-level knowledge of the English language, including the ability to read, write, and speak English at college level.

Experience:

Previous experience in a business environment helpful, but not necessary. Web design, email automation, SEO, Google Analytics, and  HTML

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.  40 WPM.
