This position coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. Compiles data on order volume, production schedules, forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.

This position is challenged to assist in the preparation and implementation of strategic plans, and to utilize the resources of the Offsite Distribution Center to fulfill the medical and non-medical supply requirements for Renown Health Regional.
Incumbent is responsible for the rotation, maintenance, and efficiency of the perpetual inventories contained within Renown Health, Acute and Non-Acute Care.
Monitors and coordinates receipt and delivery of all stock and non-stock supplies for the Renown Health, Acute and Non-Acute Care and ensures that Property control procedures are followed by all above entities, through the Receiver.
Coordinates and updates departmental policies and procedures for the Renown Health, Acute and Non-Acute Care, to include Hazmat, JCAHO, Fire and Safety.
This position is challenged to ensure the availability of all surgical and nursing supplies on 24 hours by 7- day basis.

Responsible for Renown Health based initiatives including, time and attendance management on the Kronos Time Bank System, departmental annual Pay for Performance Accountabilities, Work Plans, Kronos productivity tracking and reporting, Employee Engagement Surveys and Impact Planning, and Departmental Operating Statement auditing.
This position is challenged to assist in the development of preliminary expense and capital budgets.
This position is empowered to make decisions impacting achievement of departmental goals. Decisions deferred to the Director of Supply Chain Management are deviations from policy, final budgetary approval for Renown Health, Acute and Non-Acute Care Supply Service Departments.
This position must communicate in both verbal and written form with team members, other segment leaders, senior management, and clinical staff inclusive of physicians. This position must identify and address challenges and obstacles that arise within their teams or projects, analyze situations, develop solutions, and make informed decisions. High collaboration with other departments is necessary to achieve cross-functional objectives and it is expected the incumbent will build strong working relationships and partnerships.
Incumbent must keep abreast of the state-of-the-art technology in order to make alterations in procedures to accommodate these changes. Works with buyers to reduce dead/obsolete stock in inventory. Works with buyers to improve inventory turns of “A” and “B” items.
This position will be evaluated annually on key performance indicators established in the department scorecard and selected collaboratively with the Director of Supply Chain Operations. Evaluations of performance will be on a 1-4 scale of performance in alignment with Renown’s pillars of leadership were 1 = below benchmark, 2 = at benchmark, 3 = exceeding benchmark, 4 = meeting or exceeding calendar year goal.
