What is Pulmonology?
Pulmonology is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats disorders of the respiratory system including the lungs, upper airways, thoracic cavity, and chest wall.
Our Pediatric Pulmonology team is available to help patients with:
- Chronic cough
- Bronchopulmonary dysplasia
- Recurrent pneumonia
- Neuromuscular weakness
- Shortness of breath
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Lung conditions resulting from extreme premature birth
- Newborns with apnea
- Complications from serious illness, injury, or surgery
- Congenital abnormalities of the lungs or airways
- RSV infection prevention
Consultations are provided in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Referrals are required for consultations.
