The CT scanner is specially designed just for kids and minimizes radiation exposure by as much as 80 percent. It takes images faster, decreasing the time a child spends in the CT. CT scans are used to evaluate head, neck or spine injuries, as well as abdominal and neurological disorders.
The Children’s Imaging Center was made possible by a generous donation from local philanthropists David and Judy Hess.
