We're proud to be northern Nevada's only dedicated pediatric hospital and offer the area's only 24/7 ER specializing in emergency medical services for children. Whether your child needs to visit a pediatrician, obtain a sports physical, or require emergency care, our children's care focuses on supporting and nurturing patients and families.

Our dedicated pediatricians and supporting staff are experts at recognizing children's illnesses, relying on specific tests and treatments to ensure your child receives the best care possible.

All-New Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Renown Children's Hospital's state-of-the-art NICU, located on the fifth floor of the Tahoe Tower, is our 49-bassinet neonatal intensive care unit, which offers advanced care for newborns. As the only level III NICU in the region, our team of neonatologists, nurses, and specialists provides round-the-clock care for premature and sick infants, ensuring the highest standard of treatment.

All-New Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Children's Hospital provides specialized care for critically ill patients ranging from newborns to young adults, primarily those under eighteen. This unit handles a variety of conditions, including respiratory issues, infections, genetic and metabolic disorders, traumas, accidents, and post-surgical recovery. A dedicated team of pediatric intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, and other professionals offer round-the-clock care.
