Renown Health is always looking for innovative ways to enhance quality patient care. That's why we have four germ-zapping robots that eliminate highly contagious superbugs in just minutes.
With patient safety as a top priority, the portable robots are used as an extra layer of patient protection and are brought into operating rooms for end-of-day cleaning and patient rooms where highly contagious bacteria, viruses and superbugs are suspected.

The pulsed Xenon ultraviolet (UV-C) light is 25,000 times more intense than sunlight. It eliminates highly contagious superbugs, including Clostridium difficile (C. diff), MRSA, norovirus, influenza, measles and Ebola in just five minutes.
Renown joins nearly 300 other hospitals nationwide using the robots, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, Sharp and Stanford Hospital. The technology has been credited with helping U.S. healthcare facilities reduce their rates of infection.
Our health and wellness blog, BestMedicineNews.org, has a variety of stories about the technology Renown uses on a daily basis. Take a look.
