Walk With A Doc @ Aces Ballpark, Main Entrance, Free parking across the street & in 2nd Street Garage
Aug 31 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Have you ever wondered if walking really provides health benefits? A few Renown doctors believe that walking is so important that they’re not just talking the talk, they’re walking the walk.

Walk With A Doc – A Free Walking Club

Doctors Quinn Pauly, Janie Konakis, and Howard Chen lead a weekly low-impact walk. It’s a great opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals while getting those crucial steps in.

Walking for as little as 30 minutes a day can:

  • Reduce the risk of heart disease
  • Improve blood pressure and blood sugar levels
  • Maintain body weight and lower the risk of obesity
  • Enhance mental well-being
  • Reduce the risk of osteoporosis
  • Reduce the risk of breast and colon cancer
  • Reduce the risk of Type 2 diabetes

Want to get a head start on your walk? Print the Walk With A Doc waiver forms and bring them with you to your first walk. You only need to complete these once. Forms are also available at the walking location.
