Kelsey Interfaith Sanctuary ◦ Renown Regional Medical Center Facilitated by: Spiritual Care Team The importance of your prayers and reflections for those in need cannot be overemphasized. We continue to send out prayer requests from patients and family as they are received by email to the Renown Health Prayer Partners. Every Friday, the Spiritual Care team leads a brief devotional for prayers and intercessions for those who have requested support. All the prayer partners are invited to participate! While we use the word “prayer” for the custom of interceding on behalf of others for their health, please know that participation is not restricted to any one faith or tradition or to any one manner or method. Each person, according to their own personal belief or practice, may be part of the process of sharing words and thoughts as they ask for healing. Prayer, mediation, reflection, contemplation, recitation, chanting, reading — these and more – are all ways to intercede. Requesting a prayer or intercession: If you’d like to request a prayer be sent out on behalf of any patient, friend, family member or for anyone else in the community in need, please know that you are welcome to do so.  You can do so by submitting a prayer card. Prayer cards are available at prayer boxes and in the Spiritual Center for your use. Cards are also available in the Care Coordination offices on units.
