Putnam County Spelling Bee Production
- 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Reno Little Theater
- Free
The Sterling Silver Club presents complimentary tickets to our members for the production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Reno Little Theater – 147 E. Pueblo St. Reno, 89502. As a valued club member, you and a guest will get to enjoy this August 7th matinee show. RSVP is required and space is limited. Seating will be assigned based on first-come first-serve arrival. About the show: An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vies for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. Themes: Coming of age, family, identity, pressure, expectations Please note of the Safety Protocols for this venue: MASKS & VACCINATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED. Live theatre means large gatherings of people sitting in close quarters for long periods of time – so we continue to encourage vaccinations and masks, but we will no longer be enforcing these requirements unless the county is listed as “VERY HIGH” or “SEVERE” on the Truckee Meadows Covid risk meter at covidriskmeter.org. Please click here to view the full Safety Protocols for this location.
