This support group is designed to provide support, education, networking and resource materials to caregivers who are coping with a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer. *Please note that this is a support group designed for Caregivers only. This group is for all patients facing cancer. The meeting enables participants to share experiences and express feelings and concerns. All cancer patients, family members, survivors, and caregivers are welcome to attend. Meets weekly on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in person and virtually. Dr. Joseph D’Angelo, has been an advocate for the disadvantaged and those in need since 1989. Ordained in 1993 as a nondenominational minister, he is the founder and President of Living Water Ministries (dba Joshua’s Community) since 1995, whose mission and purpose is to take care of people of all ages, ethnicities and those in need throughout the United States and the world. Today, Joshua’s Community has helped thousands of individuals globally and in the US, from all ages and careers, with two orphanages currently underway. He has served as a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator for the past six years in Reno, Nevada. His current goal is to help those suffering through grief in partnership with the Renown Health Spiritual Center, as well as to offer his services as a volunteer chaplain to the Spiritual Care department. Facilitated by a prostate cancer survivor, this support group is designed to help men cope with prostate cancer by offering education and support for patients during their cancer journey. Now offering the group both in-person and virtual. Video enabled attendance is available for all attendees.
