Support groups create a private, safe and supportive environment (or community) and allow participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems. Find peace, healing and calm during the Mantras and Meditation practice session offered by Rev. Shelley Fisher of Reno Buddhist Center. Classes are every third Wednesday of the month from 11:15-11:45 a.m. No RSVP is required to attend. Questions? Employees, patients and their loved ones are invited and all levels of meditation practitioners are welcome. Rev. Shelley Fisher is a resident priest at the Reno Buddhist Center. She has been chanting and meditating for many years and is excited to share this beautiful practice with the wider community through Renown Health’s Spiritual Center. Mantras and Meditation will live stream from the Reno Buddhist Center livestream page on their website.
