Anthony Slonim, MD, DrPH, FACHE

Dr. Tony Slonim is an innovator and proven leader in healthcare at both the regional and national levels. During his notable career, Dr. Slonim has developed a profile as an expert in patient safety, accountable care, healthcare quality and innovative care delivery models focused on improving health within the community. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine Critical Care and Pediatric Critical Care and is an academic leader with faculty appointments as Clinical Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. He also holds a master's degree and a doctorate in Administrative Medicine and Health Policy from George Washington University Center for Health Policy Studies and has more than 100 publications and 15 textbooks to his name.
Since joining Renown Health in July 2014, Dr. Slonim has reoriented northern Nevada’s largest locally governed, not-for-profit healthcare network. He launched a five-year strategic plan that is focused on the community’s overall health while embracing the national triple aim initiatives of improving quality care and patient satisfaction — all while reducing costs. Dr. Slonim also ushered in a new era of national collaboration to establish a medical training campus at Renown, expanded the region’s quaternary care services in collaboration with Stanford Medicine and launched the nation’s first ever community-based population health study in conjunction with the Desert Research Institute.
While leading and managing the complexity of Renown, Dr. Slonim also serves as the inaugural editor-in-chief of Physician Leadership Journal and is the Chair Elect for the American Hospital Association’s System’s Board representing the more than 300 integrated health systems in the country. He chairs Truckee Meadows Healthy Communities and is a member of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada’s Board.

Dawn D. Ahner, MBA, CPA, FACHE

Interim Chief Financial Officer, Renown Health
Dawn D. Ahner, MBA, CPA, FACHE, is Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Renown. Dawn is responsible for shared non-clinical service areas across the Renown Health network including Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Environmental Services, Security, Real Estate Services, Strategic Planning and Business Development, Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain and the Population Health Management Organization. In addition, Dawn oversees Renown’s transitional services division which covers the range of Renown’s post-acute continuum of care with hospice, palliative care, home care and Renown Rehabilitation hospital.
Dawn joined Renown in 1993. Among her many accomplishments, she was responsible for launching Transformational Health Care at Renown — a model for continuous improvement based on the lean methodology. She trained in Japan and at Virginia Mason Health Care System before introducing the program to the organization in 2010.

Sy came to Reno from PeaceHealth in Vancouver, Wash. where he served as Chief Executive Officer for the Columbia Network.
In his role at Renown Health, Sy oversees operations at Renown Regional Medical Center, Renown South Meadows Medical Center and Renown’s network services. He also oversees Hometown Health, Renown Health’s insurance division.
A national award-winning senior executive with over 20 years of healthcare experience, Sy has a solid background in strategic, operational and financial business planning; physician relationships and clinical integration; as well as a keen focus on quality and patient service enhancement.

Douglas G. Merrill, MD, MBA, MA
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical and Academic Officer
Dr. Merrill comes to Renown from University of California Irvine Health where he served as Chief Medical Officer, Senior Associate Dean for Quality and Safety and Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology. He brings more than 30 years of medical, hospital and teaching experience spanning quality and patient safety to surgical care and interdisciplinary team training.
In his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical and Academic Officer, Dr. Merrill is responsible for maintaining high patient care and safety standards throughout Renown Health’s integrated network. He develops educational and research endeavors for the organization’s medical staff and leads collaborations with Renown’s medical partners like the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and Stanford Medicine.
Dr. Merrill earned his MD at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University. He also received his MBA at the Tippie School of Business at the University of Iowa and Master of Arts in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from University of Louisville.

L. M. “Tripp” Layfield III, JD
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Tripp comes to Renown from Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, Georgia where he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. An astute legal professional with over 20 years of diverse practice experience, Tripp brings solid leadership in corporate governance and legal affairs within the healthcare regulatory framework.
In his role at Renown, Tripp provides oversight and guidance to all levels of the organization. He advises senior leadership on legal issues of importance to the health network’s operations and supervises the representation of the health network in all legal proceedings.
He is highly adept at counseling administration on business and legal matters, strategy and policy development, drafting and negotiating contractual arrangements, responding to HR matters and achieving staff buy-in on change initiatives.
Tripp earned his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law. He is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence (AMJUR) Award in Legal Writing and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Hakeem Olanrewaju, MBA
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Hakeem has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience developing strategic financial plans and optimizing business operations. As Renown Health’s internal financial management expert, oversees revenue cycle, corporate services and supply chain operations while bringing in-depth knowledge of hospital operations including best practices for maximizing financial outcomes.
Prior to his position at Renown, Hakeem served as Senior Finance Officer of the Medical Group and Vice President, Regional Chief Financial Officer, Puget Sound Region for Multicare Health Systems in Tacoma, Washington. His past experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for Acute Care Campuses at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and Chief Financial Officer for Financial Services in the Oregon region for Providence Health.
Hakeem earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Seattle University and his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University.

Ty Windfeldt, MBA
Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Hometown Health
Ty Windfeldt is a Senior Vice President for Renown Health and Chief Executive Officer of Hometown Health. In this role, he oversees all aspects of Hometown Health, the region’s largest and most experienced health insurance company with more than 140,000 members. Ty is also leading Renown Health’s expansion of services into southern Nevada with the acquisition of a provider network and the 2018 launch of Hometown Health’s PPO product line in Clark County. He also works directly with other Renown Health entities to develop and implement strategies and products that fulfill Renown Health’s mission and vision.
Ty joined Renown Health in 1995 after graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno. He has held several positions within the organization, most recently serving as Vice President for Business Development.
He has received several local business and civic recognition awards, including the University of Nevada Distinguished Alumni Award, the University of Nevada Alumni Association Service Award, and the Top 20 under 40 leadership list sponsored by the Reno Gazette Journal/Young Professionals Network.
Ty serves on the boards of Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, Sierra Medical Services Alliance and the Prospectors. He also serves as an advisory member for the Division of Health Sciences, University of Nevada.
An avid outdoorsman, weekend athlete, and Wolfpack fan, he and his wife Lori live in Reno with their children Katie, Cole, and Madison.

Linda Ash-Jackson, MD
Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Hometown Health
Dr. Ash-Jackson has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership and has been with Renown since 2005.
In her role as CMO for Hometown Health, Dr. Ash-Jackson is responsible for facilitating patient care and interacting with physicians to ensure the highest quality outcomes are achieved. She oversees the quality management, case management and review programs. She actively pursues the highest standards within the industry.
Dr. Ash-Jackson earned a medical degree with distinction from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She served her residency in internal medicine at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Ma., where she was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard University School of Medicine.
Vice President of Government Relations, Renown Health
Chris Bosse has worked in healthcare and for Renown Health for more than two decades. In her role as VP of Government Relations for Renown Health, Chris is responsible for developing strategic relationships between Renown Health and government and community bodies. In addition, she is responsible for educating federal and state legislators and government and community leaders about healthcare and the issues that put Renown’s services at risk.
Prior to her role in government relations, her roles focused primarily on finance and ranged in scope from financial projects to Vice President of Finance for Renown Regional Medical Center and Vice President of Financial Operations for Renown’s Integrated Health Network, which included traditional financial responsibilities such as financial reporting and budgeting to more healthcare-specific responsibilities such as reimbursement, medical records, admitting, social services and case management.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Chris worked for Ernst and Young prior to joining Renown. She serves on the board of the Nevada Hospital Association, HealthInsight Nevada, HealthInsight Management Corporation, HealtHIE Nevada and Northern Nevada HOPES.

Nancy Bussani, MBA
Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Renown Health
As Renown Health’s Chief Development Officer, Nancy partners with system leadership and the Renown Health Foundation Board to drive philanthropy, create a culture of giving and execute the system’s strategy for innovation and improved outcomes within the healthcare industry.
Nancy has over 20 years of experience in development, philanthropy, board development, fundraising and donor stewardship in a variety of settings, including private business, academic institutions, technology corporations and research foundations.
Nancy joins Renown Health from Dignity Health in San Francisco, Calif., the fifth-largest hospital system in the nation and the largest not-for-profit hospital provider in California. In this role she established a highly-respected Board of Directors and raised funds for strategic health initiatives. Prior to Dignity Health, she served as the Vice President of Advancement at San Jose State University and adjunct professor teaching Organizational Development in the College of Business.
Nancy earned her Master of Business Administration at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. and her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Max Coppes, MD, PhD, MBA
Physician-in-Chief, Renown Children’s Hospital and Professor and Nell J. Redfield Chair of Pediatrics, University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
Max Coppes, MD, PhD, MBA serves in a joint leadership role as Physician-in-Chief for Renown Children’s Hospital and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine’s Professor and Nell J. Redfield Chair of Pediatrics. He puts children’s health at the forefront through the work of the Child Health Institute and numerous community partners.
In his role at Renown Children’s Hospital, Dr. Coppes completes the dyad model, which is a national best practice. Partnering physician and administrative leadership strengthens the focus on patients and better coordinates their continuum of care.
To bring additional pediatricians to northern Nevada, Dr. Coppes focuses on implementing a pediatric residency at Renown. His strong background attracts subspecialists and helps expand clinical research opportunities in children’s health.
Dr. Coppes was President of the British Columbia Cancer Agency in Vancouver, where he was responsible for six regional cancer centers and two cancer research centers.
Most recently, Dr. Coppes held the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Medical and Academic Officer for Renown Health. His new position was made possible through generous philanthropic support from the Nell J. Redfield Foundation along with investments by Renown and the School of Medicine.

Vice President of Advocacy and Community Partnership
Wendy comes to Renown from KTVN Channel 2 where she held a long and distinguished career in the news industry. Serving as the station’s health reporter, Wendy was a visible advocate in the community for health and wellness issues. She served as Chief Promotional Officer for Each One. Tell One., a local nonprofit that promotes early breast cancer detection.
In her role at Renown Health, Wendy advances the organization’s mission by cultivating relationships with the community. She is responsible for building strong grassroots engagement and increasing Renown’s visibility. Additionally, Wendy collaborates to advance Renown’s public stance for health and health policy issues.
Wendy is a longtime Reno resident, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a major in journalism and Spanish. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast competing in triathlons and adventure races. She lives on a local ranch with her husband and two children.

Larry Duncan, MS
Chief Operating Officer, Renown Regional Medical Center and Vice President and Administrator of Renown Children’s Hospital
Larry comes to Reno from El Paso Children’s Hospital in El Paso, Texas, where he served as Chief Executive Officer. With more than 25 years of experience at the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals, Larry brings visionary leadership necessary to elevate the clinical, financial and operational performance of healthcare facilities.
In his role at Renown Children’s Hospital, Larry serves as the administrator in the dyad model, which is a national best practice for joint physician and administrator leadership. The goal in partnering these leaders is to strengthen the focus on patients to better coordinate their entire continuum of care, a key component of Renown Health’s strategic plan. Larry also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Renown Regional Medical Center.
Larry earned his Master of Science in Health Systems Management from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of various professional organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives and Southwest Healthcare Executives Association. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and on the Alumni Review Panel at Rush University.

Ron Fuschillo, MBA
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Ron has been delivering strategic plans for complex healthcare systems and other industries since 1996 and has been a Vice President and Chief Information Officer since 2008.
Ron oversees Renown’s information technology team and focuses on improving patient care through adopting new technology. He is responsible for the planning, implementing and supporting information and communication systems throughout the health network.
He is an active member on several boards including chairing the Toshiba Image Technology Review Board, which provides industry knowledge and experiences to enhance future technology offerings.
Ron has been a VP and CIO at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey as well as Rutland Regional Medical Center in Vermont. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

Christos A. Galanopoulos, MD, MBA, MS, FACS
Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, Renown Institute for Cancer
Dr. Galanopoulos is a practicing surgeon who is also Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer of Renown Institute for Cancer, and a member of the Senior Management team at Renown Health. He has more than 20 years experience in the medical field and healthcare leadership.
His role is to use his unique skillset as a clinician and health economist in combination with his business education to help deliver the best possible cancer care for the region.
Dr. Galanopoulos earned a master's degree in Health Economics, Policy, and Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Doctor of Medicine from Rush University, and a Bachelor of Science and Biology from Loyola University Chicago. He is presently completing his MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Kirk has been an innovator in the insurance services and healthcare industry for more than 35 years, including executive responsibilities with insurance claims administration and technology companies, and senior leadership roles with national managed care organizations. He joined Renown Health in 2007 tasked to build northern Nevada’s largest occupational health and medicine program for workers compensation clients. Kirk currently support specific strategic initiatives for Renown Health while continuing his work with our Stanford partnership and rural communities.
Kirk has already served multiple terms as Board President of the Northern Nevada Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), and was recently recognized by Nevada Business Magazine as the 2013 Healthcare Hero Honoree in the Innovation category.
Although born and raised in southern California, Kirk and his wife raised four children in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

As Renown Health’s Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety, Randy’s responsibilities include accreditation and regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, patient safety, risk management, environmental safety, infection prevention and control, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Service Excellence and Volunteer Services.
Randy is a results-oriented leader with a track record for facilitating change, sustaining improvement and implementing cultural transformations that meet the highest levels of quality, safety and patient experience. Her extensive knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety processes allow her to implement sustainable structures to elevate quality and safety.
Her more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry includes six years at University of Florida Health in Gainesville, Florida, as the Chief Quality Officer and Senior Vice President. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Quality at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Randy earned her Master of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration at Baruch College in New York, New York (CUNY). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Suzanne Hendery, MA
Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Suzanne joined Renown Health from Baystate Health in Springfield, Mass., one of the top integrated health organizations in the country. As a seasoned healthcare executive, she partners with clinicians, colleagues and community members to listen and collaboratively develop programs, communications and experiences that exceed their expectations.
At Renown, she advances the strategy and mission of the organization by growing reputation, engagement, loyalty, referrals and volumes in conjunction with her marketing, internal and external communications, web/digital/social media and media relations team. Suzanne has over 25 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, program development and collaborative innovation through branding and digital strategy, customer experience design, and team member and customer engagement.
Suzanne earned her Master of Arts in Marketing Communications from the University of Connecticut and her Bachelor’s degree in Media Systems and Management from Westfield State University in MA. She is a guest lecturer at Harvard University’s Masters in Management program, the American Marketing Association Health Care Executive Board, and the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development.

Steve Horn, CCIM, CPM
Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities Support Services
Steve brings more than 30 years of experience to Renown. Most recently, he served as National Director of Real Estate for Catholic Healthcare Initiatives in Denver, CO. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Real Estate for Baylor, Scott & White Health in Dallas, TX.
His expertise includes successful change management, master planning, engineering, asset allocation, energy management, design and construction.
At Renown, he oversees a number of departments including Real Estate, Asset Development and Management, Capital Construction, Clinical Engineering, Facilities, Environmental Services, Security and Patient Transport.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Communications from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a real estate broker.

Christopher Kozlowski, MD, MHA
Vice President and Chair of the Department of Medicine, Renown Health
Dr. Kozlowski is board certified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease and has been serving patients for more than 25 years.
With Renown, Dr. Kozlowski is engaged in strategic planning, business development, quality/performance improvement, technology assessment and value analysis for the Institute.
He’s also the Medical Director for Renown’s CV program, leads the clinical quality function for cardiovascular care and is the leader for employed cardiologists.
Dr. Kozlowski recently assumed the Chair of the Renown Health Department of Medicine, focused on aligning all the specialties of Internal Medicine with the strategic and academic vision of the organization.
Previously, Dr. Kozlowski was the Associate Medical Director and Dyad Manager at Overlake Medical Clinics in Bellevue, Wash. Prior to that, he was the Chief of Staff and Interventional Cardiologist at Snowqualmie Valley Hospital in Snowqualmie, Wash., as well as a major in the United States Army Medical Corps.
Dr. Kozlowski earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Washington. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colo., and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the American Society of Angiography and Intervention.

Melinda Montoya, JD, CPC, CHC, CHPC
Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer
Melinda is responsible for providing direction and oversight of the Renown Health Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit Program.
Melinda identifies risks and ensures that Renown adheres to a strong code of ethics, principals and policies. Melinda also is the driver of education for employees, board members and physicians on the importance of corporate compliance in the workplace.
Melinda came to Renown with more than a decade of work experience at the University of Arizona Health Network in Tucson, where she began her career as a corporate compliance officer and eventually was named associate general counsel.
She has a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, both from the University of Arizona. She also is certified in both procedural code and healthcare compliance.

Erik Olson, MHA
Vice President and CEO of Renown Regional Medical Center
With 15 years in healthcare, Erik joined Renown following previous executive leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer, Interim Chief Executive Officer and most recently as Regional Vice President of Operations of United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Erik’s experience provides him a strong background in not-for-profit healthcare and expanding services beyond simply caring for illness and injury to improve the overall health and well-being of the community – a centerpiece of Renown Health’s mission. Additionally, Erik excels in building physician relationships as well as developing and redesigning care to match resident needs.
Erik received his Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and served our country in the Army National Guard for eight years.
Native to Wisconsin, Erik enjoys the outdoors, golfing and traveling. He’s also a coach for kids’ sports teams. He is married and has two young children.

Jen Richards, PhD, RN, CNRN
Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Acute Care Services
Jen has been with Renown since 1999 and oversees hospital-based nursing care, including Emergency, ICU, telemetry and Medical/Surgical inpatient departments.
Jen works with nurses and caregivers to deliver the highest quality and safest care possible for every Renown Health patient.
Prior to her role as Chief Nursing Officer, Jen served as Renown Health’s Vice President of Quality and led the endeavor to enhance care quality and improve quality scores.
Jen started at Renown as a nurse for neurosciences. She has also been a nurse educator, clinical nurse specialist, director of Nursing Education, and the director of Transformational Health Care, a method that puts the patient at the center of care and staff at the center of the improvement process.
She attended the University of Nevada, Reno and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees as well as and her post-master certificate as a nurse educator. In 2009, she earned her doctorate in nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Thomas (Tom) Sanchez, MBA
Vice President and CEO of Renown Network Services
Tom serves as Renown Medical Group CEO and is responsible for the broad development of Renown outpatient primary and specialty care services including those related to lab and imaging.
Tom’s background includes 20-plus years in many aspects of healthcare, including medical group leadership, strategic planning and forecasting, service and facility expansion and market share growth. He also is well versed in lean methodology and working with multidisciplinary teams.
As Chief Operating Officer for The Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, Washington, he oversaw more than 30 primary care and specialty care departments in 60 clinics. His achievements included opening new departments for orthopedics, ambulatory surgery and mental health, among many others.
Tom earned his master’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University, Fort Collins. He also has a bachelor’s degree in medical imaging technology from Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. He is a certified medical practice executive through the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program graduate through Purdue University.

Michelle Sanchez-Bickley, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Vice President of Human Resources, Renown Health
Michelle joined Renown Health in 2002 and has been the vice president of Human Resources since 2008. She has more than 20 years of HR leadership experience and 14 years have been in healthcare. Prior to joining Renown, Michelle was living in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked in consulting and financial service industries.
With a bachelor's degree in political science and justice studies from Frostburg State University in Maryland, Michelle earned her master's degree in human resource development from Georgia State University in Georgia. She is a certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR) and a Senior Professional Human Resources Credential (SHRM-SCP) who loves working with such a dedicated group of individuals committed to making a genuine difference for our patients and our community.
Michelle’s involvement with the community includes serving on the boards for Nevadaworks, Education Alliance, and Nevada Association of Employers. She is an advisory board member for Western Governor’s University (WGU), and teaches Human Resource courses through UNR extended studies. Having lived in other areas of the country, she is proud to call Reno home.

Bethany Sexton, MBA
Vice President and Administrator of Department of Medicine, Renown Health
Bethany is instrumental in developing a patient-centered approach that drives practices, strategies, clinical programs and performance of the Department of Medicine. She serves as an administrative leader for Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology and other medical specialty departments to improve performance in patient experience, clinical outcomes and financial outcomes.
Prior to her role as Vice President and Administrator of Department of Medicine, she served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and also led Renown’s Revenue Cycle within the Finance division.
Bethany has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management from Western Washington University.

Paul R Sierzenski, MD, MSHQS, RDMS, FACEP, FAAEM
Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Acute Services
Dr. Sierzenski has more than two decades of experience in acute care, healthcare quality and safety, health policy and population health management.
He comes to Renown from Christiana Care Health System in Newark/Wilmington, Delaware, where he served in a number of leadership roles including Medical Director of Clinician Performed Imaging, Associate Physician Leader for Operations and Patient Safety and Quality Officer of Acute Medicine. His health policy work includes consultancy and committee work for CMS, AHRQ and NQF.
In his position at Renown, Dr. Sierzenski develops and leads interdisciplinary teams to implement initiatives concerning variations in care, improve care quality, optimize patient and provider experience and analyze business and health quality metrics.
Dr. Sierzenski earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and his Masters in Health Quality and Safety from the Jefferson College of Population Health in Philadelphia. He is board certified as an Emergency Physician and certified as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS).
He holds the dual rank of Professor of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University/Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is extensively published.
