Renown Health is northern Nevada’s largest locally owned, not-for-profit integrated health network.  Affiliated with the University of Nevada, Reno School Medicine, the Renown Institute for Heart and Vascular Health offers opportunities in research, teaching, and other scholarly activities.  You can expect a highly supportive stable leadership team committed to providing resources to keep patients as the center focus of care.  Our nationally ranked cardiology program is Best in the State of Nevada for MI/CHF care.  We are seeking a BE/BC Electrophysiologist to join our Institute for Heart & Vascular Health and physician-led, dynamic medical group with 550 employed providers.  Based in Reno, Renown Health serves northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe and northeastern California and is the region's only Level II trauma center between Sacramento, CA and Salt Lake City, UT, serving a population of over 1 million patients.

Position Details: 

• The fully integrated Cardiovascular Service Line includes nineteen (19) physicians, including 5 interventionalists, three (3) Electrophysiologists, and thirteen (13) Advanced Practitioners 

• Dedicated large general cardiology and primary care referral base 

• Busy atrial fibrillation ablation program (>400/year) with dedicated EP APPs 

• Watchman Program  

• 9-weeks leave (all-inclusive) 

• 3 dedicated EP cath labs (by November 2024, one currently under construction) with state of the art technology including PFA capabilities. Strong cath lab leadership and supply chain cooperation. 

• Full-time employed position with Renown’s Institute for Heart & Vascular Health
