Several spaces for prayer, meditation or contemplation are available at Renown Regional Medical Center. All spaces are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are available to patients and guests. These spaces include the Spiritual Center & Estelle J. Kelsey Interfaith Sanctuary, Fianna’s Healing Garden and the Dermody Children’s Healing Garden.
The Estelle J. Kelsey Interfaith Sanctuary at Renown Regional Medical Center is open to people of all faiths and to those with no professed faith who seek a quiet, indoor place for prayer and reflection.
At this time, there are no sacred spaces at Renown South Meadows Medical Center or Rehabilitation Hospital; however, patients and family members are encouraged to take time in any of our quiet waiting areas for personal prayer, mediation or contemplation. Please ask your nurse or other caregiver for direction and assistance.
If you have religious dietary needs, such as Kosher or Halal, please inform your nurse, social worker or spiritual caregiver.
Attached to the Spiritual Center & Estelle J. Kelsey Interfaith Sanctuary is a Resource Library available to all who wish to access literature and online resources related to spiritual health and wellness. Patients, their families and the community are welcome to visit the Resource Library which is open at all times.
