Pam always takes the time to sit with me and explain everything with details. We made a plan and talked about everything. She even made sure my daughter understood what she was saying. I get the best treatment here!
I was brought into the Los Altos location after my regular pediatrician had to cancel at the last minute due to illness. And I was very pleasantly surprised. I had never been to this location before. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the parking lot, it was a little tightly spaced and there was a damaged spot that wasn't as well marked as it could have been. The facility itself was very clean. The receptionists and all of the staff that I interacted with were extremely helpful. The nurses, she was a nurse practitioner that my daughter saw was very thorough. Before she brought us back, before she came into the room to see us, she had reviewed the most recent comments that I had sent back and forth between our different providers. So she was informed of why we were there before we came in. And I really appreciate it ⁇
Pam Burgio has been our Doctor for the last 10 years. She was my youngest daughter’s doctor when they first came into our care as infants after being removed from their mother at birth when they were both born addicted a year and a half apart. Since then, we have changed all of our children over to her. She has been our family doctor ever since. She is kind and insightful. I always feel heard and have my concerns addressed. Several times over the years she has been the one to “diagnosis” one of my kids before sending us to a specialist who then confirmed her suspicions. We are so thankful for her and her consistent caring heart. As biological, foster and adoptive parents our experiences with doctors have been varied to say the least. Pam has been a safe person and a voice for our kiddos who have returned home as well as our kiddos who have moved on to find their new families and homes. She has fought hard to make sure our kids are cared for regardless of where they were placed at the time. We drive all the way from the far end of Cold Springs to Spanish Springs to see her. She is worth the trip EVERYTIME. I will never take my kids to another doctor.
I love working with Pam Burgio. She makes me feel like she's part of the family. She jumps right in and she always takes in my thoughts and what I'm thinking and what's going on with me and also the kiddo. She's asking the kiddo, so what do you think and what's going on before she diagnosed and finished her exam. So I'm really, really, really, really happy that Pam is our provider. Not only that, I've had 30-something foster kids and every time I get a new foster kid, I always push them with Pam. So we appreciate Pam and all her help.
I've been taking my kids to Pam for almost 16 years and I would recommend her if anybody. I trust her through and through. The rest of the staff is always nice and so is the new practitioner megan. Team here is amazing
