The Open Enrollment period begins Nov. 1 and runs through Nov. 30 Nevada’s largest locally owned, not-for-profit health insurance company, Hometown Health, is excited to announce the beginning of the open enrollment period starting Nov. 1 and running until Nov. 30. Individual and Family Plans (IFP) are available in Washoe, Douglas, Lyon and Storey Counties as well as Carson City. This expanded network increases healthcare access for thousands of Nevadans, including those in both our urban and rural communities. For 2023, Nevadans can continue to find affordable health insurance plans that fit their needs and budget through the Nevada Health Link, a website created by the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange. Nevada Health Link is an insurance resource that connects individuals to a variety of insurance plans from different health insurance companies, including Hometown Health. Certain individuals and plans may also qualify for federal tax credits and subsidies to help cover the cost of insurance.
