Ticket includes partner. This class is designed for expectant parents to gain knowledge on current research and recommendations, which promote necessary infant health, wellness and safety. Parents-to-be will learn how to care for their newborn, including bathing, diapering, cord care, signs of illness, nutrition, feeding, infant safety, understanding newborn behavior along with growth and development. Ticket includes partner. The Spinning Babies Parent Class is designed for expecting moms after the 20th week of pregnancy. This class highlights rotating the baby down and out of the pelvis. Turning (spinning) is referred to as fetal rotation and descent. During labor, the baby must rotate and descend through the three levels of the pelvis to be born. Without this movement on the baby’s part, vaginal birth is not possible. Spinning Babies Parent Class provides: Four hours of instruction and practical application Essential daily activities to give you greater ease in pregnancy and help give baby space to move and settle into the correct birth position. Balance techniques to prepare and maintain your body in a balanced, supple, and flexible condition for birth. Birth positions specific to the three levels of the pelvis as solutions when labor doesn’t move forward in a typical pattern. The day of class requirements- Support person required (significant other, friend, mom etc.) Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a large exercise/yoga ball (65-75cm) ALREADY INFLATED, two pillows (bed pillows okay), and a large towel or yoga mat. Please join us for Renown Health’s free one-hour class for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) education! Our goal is to give you the knowledge to better manage your COPD by increasing your understanding of the disease process, medications and how to use them and creating an action plan you can use every day. This program is offered every: Second Tuesday of the month from 4pm – 5pm in Renown Health Pulmonary Rehabilitation classroom The last Thursday of the month from 4pm – 5pm in the Renown Rehabilitation Hospital classroom A link to the virtual meeting will be sent 1 day before the class via email.

This class allows you a forum to ask questions and help you make informed decisions regarding your baby’s birth. The American Heart Association Family & Friends ” Child CPR & Choking” course is for those who want to learn CPR but do NOT need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven “practice-while-watching” technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Please note: A child is someone older than one year who has not yet reached puberty.
