In the Sibling Preparation class, children discover the significance of their new role as a big brother or big sister. They will engage in fun, interactive activities to help prepare for the arrival of the new baby. Through hands-on practice with baby dolls, children will learn essential skills like diapering, swaddling, understanding how babies communicate, and important safety tips. one parent is required to stay. This support group provides support, education, networking, and resource materials to caregivers coping with a loved one diagnosed with cancer. In effort to provide the most supportive atmosphere for those caring for loved one dealing with cancer, this group is for current cancer caregivers only. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven “practice-while-watching” technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Join us for our free virtual Smoking Cessation 4-week program courtesy of Renown Health. This class is available to all who want to learn the risks of smoking and the benefits of quitting. In addition, participants will learn about their triggers to smoking, ways to cope while quitting, and available products to assist with becoming tobacco-free. This program begins on the 1st Wednesday of each month and will meet every Wednesday for four weeks from 4 to 5 p.m. Upon registering, you will receive instructions on virtually connecting 1 day before the class.

Renown’s Stroke Survivor Support Group is a safe and supportive space for stroke survivors, family, friends, and caregivers to offer encouragement to each other. Our Mission is built upon friendship, meaningful connection, and fun by offering opportunities to learn more about stroke and self-care, trying new things, and rebuilding confidence as you maneuver life after stroke. Stroke Support groups allow survivors and caregivers to create meaningful moments and purposeful lives after stroke.
