At Renown Health, we are prepared to safely screen, diagnose and care for patients with respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of breath, including COVID-19.

There is no walk-in testing or swabbing for COVID-19 at Renown locations. Find out more about our current screening process.

What to Expect

Mask Information

Beginning Friday, June 26, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak is requiring face coverings be worn while in public to continue flattening the curve and to limit our community’s risk for exposure and infection. Wearing a mask is important to our personal health and safety and to our community businesses and economy.​

We understand not everyone in our community is able to wear a mask due to certain conditions. Patients who reach out to Renown care providers and employees requesting a note of exemption from wearing a mask will be directed to Section 3 of Governor Sisloak's order​​. In Section 3, it states that “persons exempted under this provision shall not be required to produce documentation verifying the condition.” Renown will follow the Governor’s language and will not write any notes for patients requesting an exemption. We appreciate your understanding and support as we fight the good fight for the health of northern Nevada.​

Urgent Care Virtual Visits

Urgent Care is now available from the comfort of your home through a same-day virtual visit on MyChart. Virtual visits are open 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday for Nevada residents. Login to MyChart and select Talk to a Doctor to get in a virtual line for urgent care. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can sign-up online. If the visit is for a minor, you will also need to activate MyChart Proxy using these instructions.

We are available 24/7 to help you assess any of the following symptoms related to COVID-19 and guide you to the appropriate level of care: cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, muscle pain or body aches, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or new loss of taste or smell.

Renown Regional Medical Center Parking

Parking for Patients and Patient Supporters

We are pleased to announce new parking options available starting Friday, June 12 at 8 a.m. at Renown Regional Medical Center.

Patient Supporters may continue to deliver and pick up their patient from the Mill St. entrance to Tahoe Ground, in yellow on the map. View Map (PDF).

  • Mill Street Parking Structure/Alternate Care Site:
    Patients and Patient Supporters may now park on Floors 3, 4 & 6. Note, the Alternate Patient Care Site is on Floors G, 1 & 2.
  • 2nd Street Parking Garage:
    Patients and Patient Supporters may park in the 2nd Street Parking Garage and the other areas in blue on the map. Provider parking has been assigned to other areas (see above).
  • 75 Pringle Parking Lot:
    Patient drop-off/pick-up and parking for patients with handicapped/disabled placard only.
