Renown Health Responds to COVID-19

At Renown Health, we are prepared to safely screen, diagnose and care for patients with respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of breath, including COVID-19.

This website provides regularly updated information from Renown. Please visit the Washoe County Health District website for the latest updates on our community.

There is no walk-in testing or swabbing for COVID-19 at Renown locations. Find out more about our current screening process.

Urgent Care Virtual Visits

Urgent Care is now available from the comfort of your home through a same-day virtual visit on MyChart. Virtual visits are open 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday for Nevada residents. Login to MyChart and select Talk to a Doctor to get in a virtual line for urgent care. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can sign-up online. If the visit is for a minor, you will also need to activate MyChart Proxy using these instructions.

Renown Regional Medical Center Parking

Renown Health is preparing for surges and standing up an alternate care site in the Mill St. Parking Garage. Due to this plan, no new incoming vehicles can enter this parking garage. It will be closed until further notice. View Map (PDF).

Options for Patient/Family Parking:

  • Patients may park in the 2nd Street Parking Garage and highlighted red areas.
  • Family members may pick up their loved ones from the Mill St. Valet.
