Ongoing Emergency Care at Renown Health
Renown Health has three emergency rooms in Reno and are continuing to see patients for all healthcare concerns. Do not delay care if you are experiencing a medical emergency. Please bring and wear a mask, and be prepared to answer screening questions when you arrive. If you have symptoms related to COVID-19, you may be assessed outside of the ER first.
Renown Health is the only integrated health network with three emergency rooms and the area's only trauma center at Renown Regional Medical Center.
Renown's emergency rooms offer treatment options not found anywhere else, including the only Children's ER, staffed 24/7 to provide care specifically to children.
Renown Health Patient Supporter Guidelines:
We respect the important role that supporters play in the health, healing, recovery and care training process of every patient. The purpose of a patient supporter is to assist with the specific care needs of the patient, as identified by the patient's care team and help their loved one heal through support, encouragement and communication. As a patient, at the beginning of an emergency room visit, patients will be asked to identify one healthy adult "patient supporter" to accompany you.
You can designate your patient supporter, who may be a relative or friend or anyone you would like to be a partner in your care. If you do not have a designated patient supporter, we would be pleased to have a volunteer to serve in that role, to assist you during your visit or hospital stay.
