Renown Regional Medical Center’s PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency is designed to provide a comprehensive experience in ambulatory care pharmacotherapy. The resident will manage patients under collaborative practice agreements in a variety of disease states including: anemia, anticoagulation, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, polypharmacy, and smoking cessation. The resident will have the opportunity to work in multiple clinic sites including exposure to rural and indigent patient populations. The resident will be required to complete practice related research project and assist with precepting pharmacy students and PGY-1 residents throughout the year.
This residency program prepares its graduates for independent practice managing a broad range of disease states seen in ambulatory care pharmacy.

Travel and Meetings
Expenses will be paid for the resident to attend Western States Conference and the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
