Cancer is challenging, but no one has to go through it alone. Patients and their loved ones can navigate the journey towards healing and recovery with the proper support and resources from Renown Health.

When faced with a cancer diagnosis, access to reliable and comprehensive cancer resources is key. These resources provide vital information, support, and guidance for patients, caregivers and loved ones throughout cancer treatment and recovery.

Cancer Resources

At Renown and in collaboration with community partnerships, we offer a variety of resources and specialty care programs focused on improving the quality of life after cancer including:

  • Cancer support groups play a crucial role in providing emotional, psychological, and practical assistance to those affected by cancer
  • These groups often consist of individuals who have been through similar experiences and can offer guidance, empathy, and understanding.
  • They provide a safe space for individuals to share their feelings, concerns, and experiences with others who truly understand what they are going through.

Cancer Care at Its Best

With clinical excellence and innovative treatments, Renown stands as a beacon of hope and personalized care in the journey to defeat cancer.

These services are free and do not require a referral. Coordinate appointments, screenings and treatments

  • Communicate with primary care doctors and specialists
  • Manage financial issue related to care
  • Learn about clinical trial information
  • Find community resources, support groups and complementary therapies

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is another crucial aspect of cancer resources. Medical treatments can be expensive, significantly burdening individuals and families. Cancer-specific foundations or non-profit organizations may offer financial aid programs or grants to help cover the costs associated with treatment.

Our financial programs seek to help people facing unexpected medical expenses and in need of urgent healthcare, particularly those who do not have adequate health insurance coverage or savings. Eligibility for this program is usually determined based on income levels and financial need, but it also depends on the specific rules and regulations of the programs.

Furthermore, it is important to note that while these resources can be incredibly helpful in navigating the challenges associated with cancer diagnosis and treatment, consulting with medical professionals for personalized advice based on individual circumstances is always recommended.

Conclusion

Every individual's experience with cancer is unique; therefore, accessing tailored resources that address specific needs is crucial. Whether it be finding local support groups, accessing reliable information about treatment options, or managing side effects, these resources aim to empower individuals affected by cancer by providing them with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health.
