Renown Health and Northern Nevada Public Health Announce New Community Health Needs Assessment

Renown Health and Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) announced the 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), a collaborative assessment to identify the most significant health needs, strengths and opportunities for improvement across Washoe County. The 2026 Renown Health & Northern Nevada Public Health Community Health Needs Assessment reflects the experiences and perspectives of people from different backgrounds and communities throughout Washoe County. Combined with health and demographic data, these insights informed four significant health needs that will guide community health improvement efforts over the next three years.

Renown Health Appoints Philanthropy Officer Mandi Larsen

Renown Health today announced the appointment of Mandi Larsen as Chief Philanthropy Officer, effective Aug. 17, 2026. A native Nevadan and experienced nonprofit executive and fundraising leader, Mandi will lead Renown Health Foundation’s philanthropic strategy and efforts to advance exceptional care, innovation and health across the region.

Renown Health Opens New Endoscopy Lab and Expanded Pre/Post Procedure Unit

Renown Health today celebrated the opening of a new Endoscopy Lab and expanded Pre/Post Procedure Unit at Renown Regional Medical Center, increasing access to specialized care and supporting the growing needs of patients across northern Nevada.
