Heartfelt Giving Strengthens Heart Care

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health has welcomed two new Philips echocardiography ultrasound machines.

Through the support of donors, Renown Health Foundation raised over $400,000 last year to purchase these two machines.

Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health offers a wide range of services, from routine screenings to advanced treatments for heart disease. These new echocardiogram machines help our doctors get faster and more accurate pictures of the heart, which means they can detect heart problems earlier and start treatment more quickly. The funding also supported upgrades to the Institute’s cardiac workstations and provided home blood pressure cuffs, allowing patients to monitor their heart health from home.

“The new EKG machines are a great addition. They help us diagnose patients faster, allow for earlier discharge, and start life-saving treatment more quickly for serious heart conditions. We are grateful to Renown and our donors for ensuring we have the best equipment to deliver accurate, timely results,” said Dr. Chris Wilson, cardiologist at Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health.
