Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Urology NP to join our growing Urology Section of the Department of Surgery.
The Urology NP will join a dynamic and collegial team of 9 MDs and 3 APPs. Urology is one of the fastest growing divisions in our medical group as we expand to meet the needs of our community.
The APPs evaluate, consult, and treat Urology patients in clinic, and provide First Assistance when needed in the OR. The NP will share rounding responsibilities in the hospital on any admitted patients and see all post operative follow up appointments.
Surgery procedures performed will generally include tasks like tissue manipulation, suturing, and managing bleeding during surgery.
The Ideal APP candidate will have Urology experience and / or Surgery Assist experience. This position will require First Assist Certification from APRNs.
Position Highlights
- Monday – Friday, 7 am to 5 pm
- 1st Assist Certification Required
- Daily rounds in the hospital
- Outpatient Clinic- new consults and post op follow up appointments
