Study Information

Summary / Purpose

The purpose of this study is to see how well capivasertib and abemaciclib work in treating patients with meningioma that is growing, spreading, or getting worse (progressive). This trial is trying to see if tumor genetic testing would be helpful at guiding treatment.

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Must have histologically confirmed intracranial meningioma, progressive or residual disease
  • Presence of SMO, PTCH1, NF2, CDKN2A, AKT1, PIK3CA, PTEN mutations, CDKN2A copy number loss, CDK4, CDK6, CCND1, CCND2, CCND3, or CCNE1 copy number gain in tumor sample

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Assignment to receive the study drug given orally
  • Participate in follow up every 6 months for up to 5 years
