Randomized Phase III Study of Mosunetuzumab vs. Rituximab for Low Tumor Burden Follicular Lymphoma

Short Title: S2308

Enrollment Status: Recruiting

NCT #: NCT06337318

Specialty Area: Oncology

Condition Studied: Follicular Lymphoma

Age Groups: Adult; Older Adult

Phase: III

Study Information

Summary / Purpose

The purpose of this study is to compare the usual treatment (rituximab) to using the study drug mosunetuzumab in treating patients with follicular lymphoma with a low tumor burden. The study doctors will be looking to see if the study drug increases the time patients live with lymphoma before it gets worse.

Study Type: Interventional
Accepts Healthy Volunteers: No

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Must have a histologically confirmed diagnosis of Classic Follicular Lymphoma
  • Must have low-tumor burden follicular lymphoma
  • Must have Ann Arbor stage II, III, or IV follicular lymphoma
  • No Follicular Lymphoma with “blastoid” or “large centrocyte” cytological features, or Follicular large B-cell lymphoma

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Random assignment to receive either rituximab, the usual drug used to treat this cancer, or mosunetuzumab, the study drug
  • Rituximab given through a vein for the first dose, then as an injection under the skin for later doses, for participants assigned to that group
  • Mosunetuzumab given as an injection under the skin, for participants assigned to that group
  • Imaging with computed tomography (CT) scans and/or positron emission tomography (PET) scans
  • Blood sample collection

ER Wait Times

How are wait times calculated?

Our estimated ER wait times reflect the average time from check-in to being seen by a medical professional during triage, where patients are prioritized based on the severity of their condition.
