Study Information

Summary / Purpose

The purpose of this study is to compare the usual treatment of chemotherapy to using pembrolizumab plus Sacituzumab govitecan-hziy for patients with urothelial cancer. The combination of pembrolizumab and Sacituzumab govitecan-hziy could shrink your cancer or prevent it from growing.

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Confirmed locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer
  • Must have measurable disease
  • Must have had at least 1 line of systemic therapy given

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Random assignment to receive either pembrolizumab plus sacituzumab govitecan, both given intravenously (IV), or standard IV chemotherapy chosen by your doctor
  • Standard IV chemotherapy, which may include cisplatin or carboplatin with gemcitabine, docetaxel, or paclitaxel, for participants assigned to that group
  • Imaging with computed tomography (CT) scans or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans
  • Sample collection for research
  • Completing questionnaires about your bladder cancer symptoms, fatigue, and quality of life
