Summary / Purpose

To find out if a structured lifestyle program can help reduce side effects, improve strength and endurance, and support emotional well-being during chemoradiation treatment for head and neck cancer.

Study Type: Interventional
Accepts Healthy Volunteers: No

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Diagnosed with head and neck cancer
  • Currently receiving chemoradiation therapy (chemoRT)
  • Able to participate in nutrition, exercise, and wellness sessions

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • A 20-week lifestyle program
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Guided exercise, including resistance training and walking goals
  • Wellness education sessions
  • Group meetings and individual support
  • Questionnaires to assess program satisfaction and emotional well-being
