Dr. Chris Wilson grew up in Wyoming. He attended medical school and earned a PhD at University of Texas Houston in the largest medical center in the world. Dr. Wilson completed his Residency, Chief Residency, and Cardiology Fellowship at Yale University. He moved back to the Mountain West and joined Renown in 2014, serving as Chief of Cardiology for the Renown Medical Group since 2022. His focus has been physician recruitment and retainment as well as improving the population health based approach to the care for the cardiovascular services at Renown Health.

A fun young gentleman checked me in. Even though I am old, he treated me with respect along with humor. Dr. Wilson was beyond my expectations even after hearing so much praise in regard to his knowledge and professionalism. I was impressed that he had read my echo results on My Chart from my old hospital. We did not have to waste time with me showing him my test results as he already knew and was ready to advise. I am so pleased to have Dr. Wilson as my new cardiologist. I feel that I am in superb hands. Also, I called to schedule my next tests and the scheduler was very accommodating.

Very easy to talk to and to be met with a smile, told me alot. I truly appreciate his advice on what medications are for and which ones were duplicates (unbeknownst to me) which simplified my life. Going for more testing so he can treat me accordingly.
