Dr. Thomas-Duythuc N. To is a highly accomplished cardiologist and leader in cardiovascular care. He earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School in 2007. He completed his internship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2008 and his residency at the University of Southern California in 2010. Dr. To further advanced his training with two fellowships at the University of Southern California: a Vascular Medicine Fellowship in 2011 and a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship in 2014.
Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. To serves as the Section Chief for Cardiology at Renown Regional Medical Center. He is also the Medical Director for the Congestive Heart Failure Program and Vascular Imaging at the Renown Institute for Heart & Vascular Health.
In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. To is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where he mentors and educates the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Dr. To and APRN Skinner were cordial, professional, and punctual, and improved my medication regimen substantially. The Cardiology Dept. ICD Tech or R.N. Kate also performed flawlessly in every way. I am sorry that I had to seek care elsewhere, but I did land at the #3 Cardiology Dept. in the nation, so this was not a complete loss. I had to leave the RRMC network, to the degree which was possible, due to a false derogatory rumor which was disseminated about me by my PCP, even as far as APRN Quigley, who works approximately 70 blocks south of RRMC, and who I believe is not a RRMC "contractor", but is rather employed by a private endocrinology practice, as well as another bias which prevails throughout the RRMC Corporation, and for which St. Mary's Hospital files legal complaints against RRMC approximately every three years. RRMC "employs" excellent staff, who it refers to as "contractors", presumably without benefits, but is a dangerously Free-market Enterprise-driven entity which violates the principles of the "Public Hospital System" (Reno uses another term which I've forgotten), despite the fact that as the locally designated Public Hospital, it receives Municipal, State, and possibly Federal funding, however it performs as if it were a private hospital. I am told that the legal dept. occupies an entire building, which on this campus, which includes one building which appears to be about twenty-five floors tall, must be at least three to five floors of attorneys and consultants. This is the root cause of the deficiencies of this medical "Center".
