Your journey with us begins well before labor and continues long after delivery. And should your baby need additional care, our campus includes the region’s highest-level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), offering advanced support close to where you deliver.

- Preconception counseling (if desired)
- Health screenings and wellness planning with your OB-GYN or primary care provider
- Confirm pregnancy and establish care with your OB-GYN or certified nurse-midwife
- Initial lab work and ultrasound
- Discuss prenatal vitamins, lifestyle guidance and any early concerns
- Schedule ongoing prenatal visits
- Anatomy ultrasound (typically around 20 weeks)
- Optional prenatal classes begin (birthing, breastfeeding, newborn care)
- Begin planning for your hospital stay (tour labor & delivery unit, if desired)
- Continue regular checkups and personalized birth planning discussions
- Discuss pain management options and potential delivery scenarios
- More frequent prenatal visits for close monitoring
- Arrive at Renown when you’re in labor or advised by your provider
- Receive continuous care and monitoring from our experienced labor and delivery team
- Welcome your baby in a comfortable, supportive environment
- In-hospital support for feeding, newborn care, and recovery
- Postpartum checkups for physical and emotional well-being
- Baby’s first pediatric appointments, often on the same campus
