Dr. Coppes, Director of the William N. Pennington Cancer Institute is a Professor of Pediatrics and Clinical Internal Medicine at UNR Med, and a Clinical Professor of Public Health at UNR. He is an experienced academic healthcare leader and skilled in program expansion. He has published over 150 manuscripts and has been actively involved in translational research as well as clinical trials research. Currently, he is focused on establishing an NCI designated Cancer Center in Reno.
