Dr. Michael Bloch is a board-certified internal medicine physician and nationally recognized expert in hypertension, vascular medicine, lipid disorders, and cardiovascular risk reduction. He serves as Medical Director of Anticoagulation and Vascular Medicine Services at Renown Health and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Bloch specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of complex cardiovascular conditions, including high blood pressure, peripheral vascular disease, cholesterol disorders, blood clotting conditions, and cardiovascular risk management. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Hypertension, Clinical Lipidology, and Vascular Medicine. Dr. Bloch earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Hospital–Cornell University Medical Center. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has served in leadership roles with the American Heart Association, the National Lipid Association, and several national cardiovascular organizations. Dr. Bloch is committed to helping patients achieve better cardiovascular health through evidence-based care, preventive medicine, and personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique risk factors and goals.
