The American College of Radiology (ACR) Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR's voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. Several Renown Imaging and Breast Centers have achieved this accreditation in all breast imaging modalities.
The Thomas S. Dolan Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Renown South Meadows Medical Center was certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) in 2020. AACVPR certification demonstrates that an organization's pulmonary rehabilitation program is aligned with current guidelines set by the AACVPR for appropriate and effective early outpatient care of patients with cardiac or pulmonary issues.

Earning it's third five-year accreditation, Renown Health's neuro-diagnostic lab has been reaccredited by The Laboratory Accreditation Board of the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). Renown's Roseview, Sierra, and Cardiac Intensive Care Units earned the Beacon Award of Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). This award measures sustained unit performance and patient outcomes that exceed national benchmarks, and Renown had the only Intensive Care units awarded this distinction in Nevada.
Awarded the 2018 Outstanding Achievement Award by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Renown became part of a select group of 24 U.S. accredited cancer programs for cancer surveys performed from January 1 – December 31, 2018. Renown's cancer program was evaluated based on 34 program standards categorized within five cancer program activity areas: program management, clinical services, continuum of care services, patient outcomes, and data quality.
Renown Institute for Cancer received three-year full accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons with commendation in all seven areas. Only 25 percent of cancer programs attain this distinction, recognizing the quality of comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care. Renown is the only accredited Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer program in northern Nevada to be selected and one of only three programs statewide.
