The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) designated Renown Regional Medical Center an Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence for having achieved professional excellence in stewardship and providing significant service to the field.

Renown Regional Medical Center was identified as a Care Continuum Center of Excellence (CCCOE). GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer identifies hospitals that meet rigorous qualifying criteria and works closely with CCCOE hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of care with a patient-centric approach.

Renown Regional Medical Center was re-verified by the American College of Surgeons as northern Nevada's only designated level II trauma center.

Renown Regional Medical Center was named as an accredited center in the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) recognized Renown Health in their coveted Digital Health Most Wired Survey results for 2022 with Most Wired Status. Renown Health earned a Most Wired level 7 (out of 10) achievement for use of technology for better patient care and patient experience in both CHIME's acute and ambulatory settings. This is Renown's sixth consecutive year on CHIME's Most Wired list and is the only healthcare organization in Nevada recognized with this prestigious award.

Renown Institute for Cancer is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program administered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). To achieve voluntary NAPBC accreditation, a breast center demonstrates compliance with the NAPBC standards that address the center’s leadership, clinical services, research, community outreach, professional education, and quality improvement for patients. Breast centers seeking NAPBC accreditation undergo a site visit every three years.

Renown Children's Hospital is the only Children's Miracle Network Hospital (CMNH) in northern Nevada. Renown has been affiliated with CMNH since 1985. Local CMNH programs and events generate an average of $500,000 annually to benefit children in our region.

Renown Regional Medical Center and X-Ray & Imaging at our Vista and 75 Pringle Way locations are designated Image Gently® supporters indicating a facility accredited in pediatric CT imaging by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Such facilities commit to pediatric imaging patients with appropriate radiation doses.

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive "digital health check-up" for healthcare organizations across the world. Organizations who have received this special recognition deployed technologies and strategies to help analyze data to achieve meaningful clinical and efficiency outcomes. Renown Health was recognized with special Level 7 recognition for both Acute and Ambulatory services.

Recognized by the American College of Cardiology’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry, Renown Regional Medical Center earned the Chest Pain–MI Registry Performance Achievement Award for excellence in heart attack care in 2021.

The American College of Radiology (ACR) Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR's voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. Several Renown Imaging and Breast Centers have achieved this accreditation in all breast imaging modalities.

The Thomas S. Dolan Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Renown South Meadows Medical Center was certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) in 2020. AACVPR certification demonstrates that an organization's pulmonary rehabilitation program is aligned with current guidelines set by the AACVPR for appropriate and effective early outpatient care of patients with cardiac or pulmonary issues.

Accredited by the American College of Cardiology, Renown Regional Medical Center earned Heart Failure Accreditation for excellence in evidence-based, guideline-driven care that improves outcomes and supports safe, efficient treatment and discharge.

The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval is the highest award an organization can receive. It is considered the gold standard in the healthcare industry. To receive the accreditation/certification, organizations must undergo a rigorous evaluation process.

Earning it's third five-year accreditation, Renown Health's neuro-diagnostic lab has been reaccredited by The Laboratory Accreditation Board of the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). Renown's neuro-diagnostic lab remains Nevada's only accredited ABRET facility.

Renown Health earned Echocardiography Accreditation in 2020 from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, recognizing excellence in vascular testing and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care.

Renown Health was awarded the Gold Plus Achievement award in 2020 by the American Stroke Association. Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke is an in-hospital program for improving stroke care by promoting consistent adherence to the latest scientific treatment guidelines. The Gold Plus Achievement Award is an advanced level of recognition acknowledging hospitals for consistent compliance with quality measures.

For the fourth year in a row, Renown Health earned the "Digital Most Wired" honors from CHIME that assess how effectively healthcare organizations apply core and advanced technologies in their clinical and business programs to improve health and expand access to care in their communities.

Renown Rehabilitation Hospital is northern Nevada's only Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited rehabilitation hospital. CARF accreditation signals a service provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.

Renown Regional Medical Center received the 2021 American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines®–Heart Failure Gold Plus award for excellence in applying the latest evidence-based therapies and improving quality heart failure care.

Mission: Lifeline EMS recognition is the American Heart Association's program that recognizes prehospital emergency agencies for their quality of care for heart attack and stroke patients.

Renown's Roseview, Sierra, and Cardiac Intensive Care Units earned the Beacon Award of Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). This award measures sustained unit performance and patient outcomes that exceed national benchmarks, and Renown had the only Intensive Care units awarded this distinction in Nevada.

Awarded the 2018 Outstanding Achievement Award by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Renown became part of a select group of 24 U.S. accredited cancer programs for cancer surveys performed from January 1 – December 31, 2018. Renown's cancer program was evaluated based on 34 program standards categorized within five cancer program activity areas: program management, clinical services, continuum of care services, patient outcomes, and data quality.

Renown Institute for Cancer received three-year full accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons with commendation in all seven areas. Only 25 percent of cancer programs attain this distinction, recognizing the quality of comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care. Renown is the only accredited Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer program in northern Nevada to be selected and one of only three programs statewide.

Awarded by the American College of Radiology (ACR®), this designation recognizes organizations that meet quality and safety benchmarks that the ACR has determined to be the hallmarks of an effective lung cancer screening program.

Renown Regional earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Hospital Accreditation, Renown South Meadows Medical Center received accreditation for Total Knee, Hip, and Shoulder Replacement, and Renown Hospice achieved a deficiency-free survey with two best practices identified.
