Renown South Meadows Medical Center Expansion
Expansion Completed in 2025
Construction teams' broke ground for a new 121,000 square foot medical center in the summer of 2022 and celebrated opened the new building in January 2025. The three-story building expanded on the existing Medical Center:
- Floor 1 features a modern café and dining area, seating for visitors, comfortable check-in areas and two Cardiac Catheterization Labs.
- Floor 2 includes a surgery center, comfortable waiting areas and an expanded sterile processing department for our surgical teams
- Floor 3 will be home to the Conrad Breast Center, which is set to open in summer 2025 and offer state-of-the-art diagnostics, breast surgery care and wellness programs
- Additional parking and bicycle racks for all patients, visitors and employees
A Healthier Community is in the Building
Improvements to Existing Spaces
- Upgrades to our lobby and public spaces at the existing medical center.
- Improvements to floors 1 and 2 with private patient/family rooms.
- Expansion of surgical minor procedures rooms, operating room enhancements and technology integration.
- Improvement in lighting, with dimmable options for patient room areas, LED/sustainable improvements.
- Improvements, upgrades, and new services include imaging, a surgical preadmission lounge, and expanded physical therapy space.
