

Renown Health has earned a national Inclusive Marketing Award from Ragan Communications and PR Daily, one of the communications industry's most respected publications, for its "Contigo en la Lucha" Spanish language marketing and communications campaign. The award was presented on June 18 at Ragan PR Daily's 2026 Marketing, Content Marketing and Social Media Awards luncheon in New York City.
"Contigo en la Lucha" is a transcreation of Renown's "Fight the Good Fight" brand campaign, reimagined for Spanish-speaking patients and communities across northern Nevada. Rather than a direct translation, the campaign was rebuilt from the ground up to reflect the cultural values, language and lived experiences of northern Nevada's Hispanic and Latino communities — delivering Renown's core message of health advocacy in a way that is both authentic and resonant.
"This recognition reflects the heart of what 'Contigo en la Lucha' was always about — showing up for our SpanishRemp-speaking neighbors the same way we show up for every patient we serve," said Cristal Herrera Woodley, MBA, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at Renown Health. "Transcreating our 'Fight the Good Fight' campaign wasn't just a language exercise. It was a commitment to making sure our community sees themselves in our brand and trusts us as their partners in health. As a Latina, I knew firsthand how powerful it is to receive health information in your own language, delivered with cultural understanding rather than just accuracy.”
Renown was recognized alongside national brands including Adobe, Samsung Electronics America and Hyundai Hope on Wheels, earning the Inclusive Marketing honor as the only Nevada-based health system among this year's marketing award winners.
The "Contigo en la Lucha" campaign spans marketing, community outreach and patient communications developed to build trust with Spanish-speaking audiences who have historically faced barriers to accessing quality healthcare. What began as a small, targeted initiative has grown into a permanent and expanding pillar of Renown's marketing and communications strategy embedded across channels, campaigns and community programming organization-wide.
"When we launched 'Contigo en la Lucha,' we hoped it would resonate. What we didn't anticipate was how profoundly it would grow into a campaign that now shapes how we communicate across our entire organization," said Michelle Luna Toscano, Senior Marketing Business Partner at Renown Health.
