Study Information

Summary / Purpose

To find out if adding MK-1084 and cetuximab to standard chemotherapy (mFOLFOX6) helps people with KRAS G12C-mutated colorectal cancer live longer and delay cancer progression compared to usual treatment.

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Diagnosed with colorectal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable) has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or to other places in the body (metastatic) (mCRC) and has a KRAS G12C gene mutation
  • Eligible for chemotherapy and targeted therapy
  • Cannot have active inflammatory bowel disease requiring immunosuppressive medication or previous clear history of inflammatory bowel disease

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Treatment with targeted therapies MK-1084 given orally and cetuximab given intravenously (IV)
  • Chemotherapy with mFOLFOX6 (includes oxaliplatin, leucovorin, and 5-fluorouracil) given intravenously (IV)
  • Some participants may also receive bevacizumab given intravenously (IV)
  • Blood tests and imaging to monitor response to treatment
  • Questionnaires
