Study Information

Summary / Purpose

To study treatment options for people with metastatic colorectal cancer that has not been treated yet for is advanced stage. This study compares a new investigational medicine given with standard chemotherapy to a commonly used approved treatment given with chemotherapy. The goal of the study is to better understand how well the new treatment works and how safe it is, with the aim of improving care for people with advanced colorectal cancer.

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Adults 18+ years of age
  • Diagnosed with metastatic (stage IV) colorectal cancer that has not been treated previously for metastatic disease
  • Healthy enough to receive combination chemotherapy in the opinion of the treating investigator

What's Involved

Participation in the study will include:
  • Treatment of either a new medicine called PF-08634404 combined with standard chemotherapy or the approved drug bevacizumab with chemotherapy given by intravenous (IV) infusion in cycles
  • Regular visits for monitoring, tests, and follow-up visits during and after treatment
