Safe Start: Infant & Child Safety + CPR

This comprehensive class is designed to help parents and other primary caregivers of infants and young children prepare for emergencies and create a safer environment at home. Whether you’re expecting a baby or already caring for a little one, you’ll gain practical knowledge and hands-on skills to help keep children safe and respond confidently when it matters most.

What You’ll Learn:

• Car seat safety basics and proper use
• Safe sleep recommendations
• Childproofing your home
• Preventing common childhood injuries and accidents
• Hands-on practice with Infant & Child CPR and choking relief techniques (certificate not provided)

What to Bring:

Please bring your infant car seat with attached base for hands-on practice. If you do not have a car seat available OR if your car seat is already installed, please contact the instructor before class so accommodations can be made.
