Postpartum Recovery and Support Class

All parents have unique postpartum and recovery experiences after birth. This 2-hour class helps prepare the birthing person and their partner for what they can expect after the birth and in the weeks that follow. It is offered monthly and welcomes parents and their support partners.

Topics covered in this class include:
• Postpartum care in the hospital
• Physical and emotional changes after birth
• Self-care during the postpartum period
• Understanding the difference between postpartum blues and postpartum depression
• Warning signs to watch for
• Adjusting to life once you get home
• Support for new parents and caregivers

Registration Information:
• Please register using the name and information of the pregnant person.
• 1 ticket = pregnant person + 1 partner
