Our Minimally Invasive ServicesThese catheter-based treatment options do not require open heart surgery to replace or repair damaged heart valve and/or arteries. They are performed in less time than open-heart surgery, resulting in a shorter hospital stay and faster recovery time.
This procedure allows a leaking mitral heart valve to be repaired via a small groin incision. A small clip is affixed to the opening of the valve to correct the leaking of the valve.
This approach allows a new prosthetic valve to be placed inside of the existing diseased valve. The current valve is used as an anchor to hold the new valve into place.
