Urgent Care FAQ
We care for all ages at all of our urgent care location including infants, children and adults. There is no age requirement.
Walk-ins are always welcome at all Renown Urgent Care locations.
You can also check wait times and reserve a spot online. While reserving your spot online is not required, it is recommended to reduce your wait time and for your convenience. Please not that reserving your spot is NOT an appointment – it is the estimated time you will be seen once your registration is complete.
We offer on-site X-ray services at the majority of our urgent care locations, and a provider can confirm if this is necessary during your visit. Currently, Fallon and Northwest Reno do not have X-ray services. All other locations have X-ray services.
Our team includes board-certified physicians, experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners, as well as a friendly support staff of medical assistants and radiology technologists.
If you have severe symptoms or injuries that could be life-threatening, call 911 or go to an emergency room right away. The ER is for life-threatening medical problems like:
- Chest pain
- Numbness in the face, arm or leg
- Bleeding that won’t stop
- Loss of consciousness
- Seizure
Our emergency rooms at Renown Regional, Renown South Meadows and Renown Children’s Hospital provide 24/7 medical care for those who are severely injured or ill.
